学習環境をデザインする -学習者コミニュティーとしての日本語教師養成コース- Designing a Learning Environment: Teacher Training Course as a Learner Community トムソン, 木下 千尋 トムソン, キノシタ チヒロ THOMSON, Kinoshita Chihiro トムソン トムソン THOMSON 木下 千尋 キノシタ チヒロ Kinoshita Chihiro 本稿は、学習者参加型の教師養成コースの学習環境のデザインを報告、検討する。このコースは社会文化理論に基づいた日本語授業ができる教師の養成を目指し、コースの文脈自体を理論の実践として実現した。社会文化理論は学習を個人的なものではなく、社会的文脈の中で起こると考える。ここでは、コース・デザインの枠を超えた学習環境のデザインのなかで、学習者が様々な媒体を介してクラスメートと協働しながら、同時に学習者オートノミーを促進し、学習者コミュニティーの成員として新しい理解の構築に参加していった。本稿では、はじめに社会文化理論と学習者オートノミーの接点を簡単に述べ、当該コースの学習環境のデザインを概観する。続いて活動理論の枠組みを用い、学習環境を主体、リソース、対象、規則、コミュニティー、役割分担の視点から捉え、分析する。さらに、環境デザインのなかで起こるコミュニティーの変容自体を学習と捉えて考察する。その成果を報告し、コースの実践に参加した大学院生の将来に期待をかける。 *本稿は、日本語教育学会平成18年度春季研究大会に発表した論文の一部に加筆修正を加えたものである。 The paper reports and examines the design of a learning environment for a participatory Japanese teacher training course. The course aims to develop teachers with the ability to achieve Japanese language teaching underpinned by sociocultural theory. The design of the learning environment ensures the establishment of a learning community wherein learners are assisted by various resources, and, through participation in class, develop new understanding and develop learner autonomy. This paper first discusses sociocultural theory and learner autonomy, then describes the design of the learning environment. Then, employing the concept that learning is actualized through changes in the community in which it occurs, this paper analyses the learning environment in terms of subject, resources and artifact, objects, regulations, community and role distributions, as defined within the sociocultural theory.
