 note = {本稿は、日本人という集団に対するイメージが日本人との対人コミュニケーションを阻害しうるという社会心理学の知見に注目し、日本語学習者の日本人イメージの実態とその形成メカニズムに迫るものである。具体的には、学習者と非学習者の比較を通して 1）両者の日本人イメージにおける違いと 2）両者の違いを生み出す要因を検討し、日本語学習の日本人イメージへの影響を探ることを目的とする。韓国のソウル、釜山、大田にある3大学で質問紙調査を行ない、527名（学習者368 名、非学習者159 名）の回答を分析の対象としている。日本人イメージの全体像を詳細に把握するために、従来検討されてこなかった新しいイメージを考慮し、自由記述式の質問紙法を用いた。回答者の日本人に対する記述は3名の判定に基づいて23カテゴリーに分類された。, The main aim of this paper is to explore images of Japanese people held by Korean university student Japanese language learners and non-learners. This study examines(1)differences in the image of the Japanese held by learners and non-learners of Japanese; and(2) the factors that influence differences in that image. Respondents were 527 Korean university undergraduate students (368 learners of Japanese and 159 nonlearners) living in Korea. In order to ascertain contemporary images of the Japanese held by respondents, a free response task was used.
