| 内容記述 | 本稿では、「が」と「は」の用法、意味、意味の背景と形態などを分析・記述している。 分析の方法は、人間の奥にある思考の型を形態心理学的根拠より探るとともに、文構造とかコンテキストの中での「が」と「は」の使い方からは解明できなかったその根本的理由を、言語以前に働く人間の内部的認知活動の観点から解決しようと試みた。 その結果は、大きく次の五つに要約できる。 1.「が」と「は」は、発話時、時空間的制約があるか否かによって、次のような名詞句と述語との共起相を表わす。 ・ 具体的、個別的なもの:一時的状態、動作。 ・ 観念的(抽象的)、総称的なもの:恒常的状態、属性。 2.「が」→「は」への展開は、心理哲学でいう認知→洞察→認識→観念の発達過程と相まっているようである。 3.「は」には二つの働きがある。それは「内部向け」と「外部向け痕跡」の働きである。この二つの働きによって、「は」の用法は「品定め主題」、「不問の対照主題」、「表別の対照主題」と区別され得る。 4.「～は～が～」文において、「が」の用法は「は」によって制限を受ける。それは必ず、「品定め主題」－「とりたて」、「不問の対照主題」－「中立叙述」の共起相を持つ。 5.「～は～が～」文において、「は」と「が」は背景と形態の関係にある。「は」を用いていない動詞文の場合は、「は」の代りに時空間的要素がその背景となり同時に主題化する。 |

| 内容記述 | In this paper I analyzed and described the usage, meaning, background and form of meaning of the particles, "ga" and "wa." The methods of analysis used were Gestalt Psychology and the human inner cognition accepted in pre-language. From the view points of cognition and expression, I tried to find the natural features which have not been solved from the usage of "ga" and "wa" in sentence structure and context. The results can be summarized into these five facts: 1. "ga" and "wa" have the following co-occurrence forms in the noun phrase and the predicate. Of course, it can be decided by the constraints of time and space in the time of utterance: Concrete, Individual Noun Phrase - the momentary state and act, or Conceptional (Abstract), Generic Noun Phrase - the stable state and attribute. 2. The development from "ga" to "wa" coincides with that of psychological philosophy. That is, Congnition -> Synthesis -> Episteme -> Concept. 3. "Wa" works in two ways; one is "inward" and the other is "outward," on the basis of inward. By them the usage of "wa" is divided into "attributive theme," "contrastive theme of incompatible," and "contrastive theme of compatible." 4. "Ga" is used in the objective description and "wa" in the subjective description. In a "-wa-ga-" sentence, the usage of "ga" is restricted by that of "wa." It chooses "neutral description" in "contrastive theme of incompatible" and "take-out" in "attributive theme." The contrastive features of "wa" result from the polarity of "take-out" and from the negative and antonymy of "marked of theme." 5. "-Wa-ga-" sentences are related in the background and form. Verb sentences without "wa" have the concept of time and space in the background and, at the same time, is considered a theme. |
