| 内容記述 | 本稿は、複合助詞「にしたがって」と「につれて」の意味・用法を明らかにすることを目的とするものである。先行研究においてこの2語の区別は必ずしも明らかにされてはいないが、本稿では、2語を考察した結果、「にしたがって」と「につれて」は次のように記述することができることが明らかになった。 (1) 2 語は同様に〈漸進的な事態間の連動〉を表す用法がある。但し、この場合の「にしたがって」は、二つの事態の連動関係を必然的なものとしているという話し手の認識・認知を含意している。一方、「につれて」はこのような含意がない。 (2)「にしたがって」は「につれて」と異なり、〈規範的な連動〉を表す用法がある。 (3)「につれて」は「にしたがって」と異なり、〈受動的な連動〉を表す用法がある。 この結果に基づき、「にしたがって」の基本的意味は〈必然的な連動〉を表すもの、「につれて」の基本的意味は〈個別的な連動〉を表すものであることを明らかにした。また、このように記述することにより、2 語の類似点と相違点、先行研究で説明されていない問題により一般性のある説明が与えられることを示した。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | The purpose of this paper is to describe the meaning and use of the Japanese compound postpositions -nisitagatte and -niturete. Previous research cannot explain the differencebetween these two items. In this paper, I analyzed the difference between -nisitagatte and -niturete, and report the results as follows:a. These two compound prepositions show the interlocking relation between two gradual situations. However, -nisitagatte expresses that the speaker believes the interlocking relation between the two situations to be inevitable. On the other hand, -niturete does not express such a meaning.b. -nisitagatte shows a normative interlocking relation.c. -niturete shows a passive interlocking relation.Therefore, the basic meaning of -nisitagatte expresses an inevitable interlocking relation, and the basic meaning of -niturete expresses an individual interlocking relation. The difference between these two compound prepositions can be explained using the descriptions in this paper. | |||||||||
